There are endless places to climb and scramble in Wadi Rum. It is a great place for exploring and finding a nice balcony to sit and enjoy the view. Some scrambles are much more difficult and rewarding than others and I am happy to show you the best routes. I will provide all food and equipment necessary for your journey.

Here is a list of the famous climbs in Wadi Rum.  I have ten years of experience and can guide you up the mountain, choosing from a variety of routes, with a mixture of scrambling and abseiling, and there is even an option to sleep at the summit.

 

Jebel Um Adami (1 day 1 night tour)

Jebel Um Adami is the highest mountainImage result for jabal um adami summit in all of Jordan standing at 1832m above sea level. On a clear day the mountain offers views over Saudi Arabia and even the Red Sea if you are lucky. The hike is easy to moderate usually taking around 2 and half hours to reach the summit.

The tour will start from Wadi Rum Village rest house where you will meet your hiking guide. From there you will drive with jeep 40km through the desert passing through the Wadi Rum and Wadi Sabbit before reaching Jebel Um Adami. The hike to the summit should take about 2-3 hours depending on your fitness level. At the top you will have time to rest and take photos before heading back down. When you reach the bottom you will have time to rest and explore as your guide prepares you lunch. After lunch you will drive to our desert camp where you will have time to relax and enjoy the sunset. You will enjoy a traditional Bedouin Dinner as well as sing and dance.

The next day after breakfast you will be driven back with jeep to the Wadi Rum Village.

Jebel Al Hash (1 Day 1 Night Tour)

Jebel Al Hash is located in the Image result for jabal al hashal-Forah area, close to the border with Saudi Arabia. It is an easy climb, so you don't need to be experienced or excessively fit. Jebel El Hash stands around 1700m above sea level and is perhaps the most beautiful mountain in the whole Wadi Rum area, from the top you will see all the different colors that make the Wadi Rum unlike any other place on Earth. Jebel Al Hash stands about 7km from Jebel Um Adami.

The tour will start from Wadi Rum Village rest house where you will meet your hiking guide. Jebel Burdah Summit (1 Day 1 Night Tour)

Jebel Burdah is arguably one of theImage result for jabal burdah most beautiful hikes you can do in the Wadi Rum. The views from the summit are incomparable to any other summit hikes in the area. Jebel Burdah is located in the southeast of the protected area. On the north ridge stands the 35 meter high Burdah rock bridge. It is considered one of the highest natural arches in the world and one of the most spectacular sites in Wadi Rum.

The tour will start from Wadi Rum Village rest house where you will meet your climbing guide. You will then drive about 20km through the Wadi Rum until you reach the base of Jebel Burdah. Depending on your ability it should take you about 2-3 hours to reach the summit with some time in between to enjoy the Burdah Arch. Usually on the way down we will take a different route requiring a 20m abseil for safety. After arriving at the bottom you will have time to rest and look around as your guide will prepare you lunch. After lunch you will drive to our desert camp where you will have time to relax and enjoy the sunset. You will enjoy a traditional Bedouin Dinner as well as sing and dance.

The next day after breakfast you will be driven back with jeep to the Wadi Rum Village.
